In anticipation of the end of 2024, the IT Education and Research Center summarized its activities by presenting its annual report.
On December 11, 2025, the center's Scientific Supervisor Samvel Shoukourian and Executive Director Artur Avagyan presented the annual report, addressing the center's achievements, existing challenges, and ways to improve them. The presentation was attended by YSU Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Elina Asriyan, the center’s teaching and administrative staff.
S. Shoukourian, emphasizing the role and importance of science, highlighted as an achievement the scientific activities of the teaching staff, particularly two patents from the United States and 14 published articles that were presented at prestigious conferences.
Executive Director A. Avagyan spoke about the work done and ongoing efforts to improve the center’s infrastructure throughout the year. The presenter also pointed out that in the near future, three technology-equipped auditoriums will be opened.
The discussion covered the need for increasing the number of students, as well as the necessity of implementing dual degree programs and involving international students.
The results of the center’s university-wide activities, including the work of information systems, educational technologies, and departments ensuring the learning process, were summarized.
At the end of the presentation, Vice-Rector E. Asriyan also gave a speech, in which she particularly emphasized the center's scientific activities.
