In cooperation with Arevahovit Armenia Value System Unity, the YSU Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology is organizing an essay competition dedicated to the faculty's 60th anniversary. The competition is open to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in the "Philosophy" educational program, as well as students from other disciplines with an interest in philosophy.
The competition aims to emphasize the crucial role of philosophical understanding of modern Armenian realities among the youth, foster meaningful discourse on identity-related issues, and highlight the importance of overcoming the existing crisis of moral values as well as the role of philosophy in the spiritual searches of the youth. The results will be announced, and awards presented, on World Philosophy Day, November 21.
Essay topics are provided in Armenian.
Prizes will be awarded to the best essays.
1st place: 200,000 AMD
2nd place: 150,000 AMD
3rd place: 100,000 AMD
Essays must be written in accordance with the following technical requirements: a maximum of 7 pages, Sylfaen font, size 12, with 1.5 line spacing. The author's full name, educational institution, email address, and phone number must be included.
