From July 7-11, 2025, the "Law and Conflict Resolution in the South Caucasus" summer school will be held at Yerevan State University. This event is organized in cooperation with YSU Continuing Education Center and the University of Graz (Austria) for students from both universities.
The summer school will be led by professors from both the University of Graz and YSU.
The aim of the summer school is to explore, within a broader context, the challenges and multilateral aspects of the Europeanization process and peacebuilding. During the program, the impact of these processes on various sectors, such as political institutions, security strategies, diversity management, conflict resolution, geopolitical orientations, and social and cultural practices, will be discussed.
Participants will visit the European Union Observer Mission office, the Constitutional Court of Armenia, and other institutions.
Upon successful completion of the summer school, participants will receive certificates from YSU and the University of Graz.
The summer school is open to final-year bachelor’s and first-year master's students from the Faculties of Law, International Relations, Sociology, History, Economics and Management, as well as other fields of humanities and social sciences.
Proficiency in English is mandatory.
Shortlisted participants will be invited for an interview. Selected participants will be exempt from the participation fee.
