Kahneman pioneered the field of behavioral economics, challenging traditional economic principles by revealing the role of cognitive biases in decision-making. In 2002, he was awarded the Nobel Prize for integrating psychological discoveries into the field of economics.
Published in 2011, this work summarizes Kahneman's groundbreaking research on human decision-making. The author presents two systems of thinking: 1. fast and intuitive, and 2. slow and logical. The book’s intriguing stories and experiments highlight the limitations of human intuition, often leading to irrational choices, unfounded conclusions, and incorrect predictions.
