On November 22, 2024, at 3:00 p.m., a meeting with Armenia's People's Artist, actor, director, and singer Mikayel Poghosyan was organized at YSU Charles Aznavour Cultural Center, as part of the Cinema Club.
After presenting the actor's career journey, a screening was held showcasing excerpts from several films in which Mikayel Poghosyan had played a role.
Following the screening, Director of the center Karine Davtyan presented Mikayel Poghosyan with a gift on behalf of Yerevan State University.
This was followed by a Q&A session between the actor and the audience, which consisted of students from various faculties of Yerevan State University.
Mikayel Poghosyan was born in Yerevan in 1954. From 1976 to 1991, he worked at the Chamber Theatre. He was an actor at the Hayfilm Studio from 1978 to 1992 and performed in numerous productions at the Hamazgayin Theatre between 1982 and 1994. Over the course of his career, he has appeared in more than thirty films, many of which have received various international awards. He is currently an independent artist.
