1st International College on Modern Applications of Optics and Photonics (MAOP2024) in Yerevan
OPTICA and SPIE joint student chapter of Yerevan State University (YSO) will host the 1st International College on Modern Applications of Optics and Photonics (MAOP2024) from August 12th to 23rd, 2024 in Yerevan, Armenia.
MAOP2024 is sponsored by the YSO Student Chapter’s Optica Special Program grant. It is a combination of a week-long hands-on training in the optics laboratories of the Yerevan State University, followed by another week of presentations, and panel discussions.
Invited speakers from more than 20 scientific research institutions worldwide will present their talks on different research topics. During the College, a special section will be dedicated to professional development lectures from the academy and industry points of view.
Students will have a chance to present their research with oral presentations as well as posters.
MAOP2024 aims to create a safe and free space for scientists worldwide to share the latest optics and photonics research results.
Participation in the program is free for Armenian citizens and university participants, while it costs 120,000 AMD for other participants.
