On July 10, 2024, the Diploma Awarding Ceremony for the graduates of the YSU Pharmacy Institute from the 2023-2024 academic year took place.
Ani Chakhoyan, lecturer-expert at the Pharmacy Institute, the event organizer, congratulated the pharmacists on receiving their diplomas. She encouraged them to effectively apply their accumulated knowledge in practice, further advancing pharmacology in Armenia.
Ashot Saghyan, President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia and Founder of the Institute of Pharmacy, awarded diplomas to the graduates of the "Pharmacy" bachelor's program (full-time). In his congratulatory address, A. Saghyan emphasized the significant impact of the Institute of Pharmacy on Armenia’s pharmacology sector. He noted that many of the country’s leading pharmacists are graduates of the institute, highlighting its crucial role in shaping their professional careers.
Samvel Vardapetyan, Associate Professor at the Chair of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmacognosy, handed over diplomas to the graduates of the "Pharmaceutical Chemistry" bachelor's educational program (part-time).
Associate Professor Anahit Hovhannisyan, Head of the Chair of Pharmacotechnology and Pharmacy Economics and Management, handed over diplomas to the graduates of the "Pharmacy" master's educational program. She highlighted that the German international agency ASIIN has accredited both the "Pharmacy" bachelor's and master's educational programs. Consequently, the accreditation stamp has been added to the mark sheets of the diplomas.
Arpine Geolchanyan handed over diplomas to the graduates of the "Drug Quality Control" master's educational program.
At the event, the lecturers warmly welcomed the attendees and congratulated the graduates, wishing them success in their future professional endeavors.
Heghine Ohanjanyan and Mariam Zakaryan, graduates of the full-time "Pharmacy" bachelor's program, expressed their gratitude.
Some graduates of the full-time "Pharmacy" bachelor's program were also awarded certificates for participating and presenting the Institute’s booth in "Learn & Work: YSU Expo-2023" and "Learn & Work: YSU Expo-2024."
Following the diploma awards, the pharmacist's oath ceremony was held for the master's graduates. Additionally, the master’s graduates wrote their goals on sheets of paper and placed them in a bottle labeled "Wine Full of Memories." This bottle is planned to be opened in 10 years, with the intention of reuniting this year's graduates under one roof.
