A meeting was organized at YSU Pedagogy and Education Development Center with students from the "Social Pedagogy" bachelor's degree program and special educators from the "Armavir Regional Pedagogical-Psychological Support Center" SNCO, Hasmik Mkrtchyan and Seda Musheghyan.
Studying the peculiarities of organizing social and pedagogical work helps reveal the conditions and multifaceted work of a social educator. To help students understand how these works are effectively carried out, the educators presented the peculiarities of working with children who require special educational conditions. This included an exploration of mirror neurons and their role in promoting higher mental processes, as well as the processes involved in a child's spatial orientation, spatial differentiation, and perception. These topics were illustrated through a combination of slide presentations, videos, and interactive games.
The meeting provided future social educators with a valuable opportunity to deepen their understanding of the profession and develop a greater appreciation for their work.
