Educational Process Support Chair

Educational Process Support Chair was created in 2007 as part of the Educational and Research Center of Information Technologies, based on the need to provide computer support for all YSU faculties' Bachelor's degrees (full-time and part-time) and some faculties' Master's degrees, as well as to transfer the necessary knowledge in the field of information technologies to YSU students.

The Chair carries out the following types of activities:

• In the Undergraduate courses of all YSU faculties (full-time and part-time), the all-university subject "Fundamentals of Information Technology Application" is taught. The theoretical and practical materials of the subject, the mastery and test works of each lesson, and the summary tasks of the subject were developed edited, and posted on the e-learning platform of the university. The classes are held in computer classrooms operating in different faculties of the center.

• All lectures, practical and summary tasks for the Master's degree program of some faculties of YSU (full-time and part-time) for "Information technologies in the field of specialty" were developed taking into account the specifics of the given specialty and posted on the university's e-learning platform.

• The structure and evaluation criteria of the Bachelor's and Master's examination tests have been developed. Test questions were selected from the question bank (more than 800 questions).

• The Chair employees developed and edited the program of the preparatory course for admission to RA universities and Postgraduate courses abroad (full-time and part-time), the manual of practical and summary tasks, and the exam tests, based on which the preparatory courses and the admission exam were conducted.

• In the computer classrooms of the ITERC, intermediate and final examinations of YSU co-university subjects / Basics of Ecology, Civil Defense, First Medical Aid / as well as current and final examinations of professional courses of other faculties are held.
