On April 4-5, 2025, the "Capacity Building Workshop" was held in Tsaghkadzor for members of the Children's Leadership Team. The workshop brought together 20 children from different communities across Armenia, all interested in civic activism, leadership, and research activities.

The primary aim of the workshop was to develop the children's research skills and program management abilities, while also fostering their involvement and participation in child-led initiatives.
During the workshop, the children had the opportunity to attend lectures and engage in practical activities. Topics discussed included: "Basic Research Concepts – Formulating Questions, Defining Objectives, Selecting Methods," "Phases of Developing and Discussing Research Ideas," "Planning, Implementing, and Evaluating Programs with Children’s Participation," and "Building the Structure of the Children’s Leadership Team."

The workshop was complemented by team activities, practical exercises, and creative approaches, allowing the children to reinforce the knowledge and skills they had gained. The trainers for the workshop were Arusyak Aleksanyan, Mariam Muradyan, and Arman Minasyan.
This initiative places special emphasis on the importance of children's opinions and the development of leadership skills. Participants acted not only as learners but also as active contributors, offering their vision on how they can initiate and lead socially important programs in their communities.
The workshop concluded with the children’s suggestions and presentations for future programs aimed at activating the Children’s Leadership Team’s activities and developing program initiatives.
The high level of participant engagement and active involvement demonstrated that such capacity-building platforms have a significant impact on children's educational, social, and civic growth.
