Emphasizing the importance of active cooperation with mining companies, Sargis Kelyan, Dean of the YSU Geography and Geology Faculty, and Papin Muradyan, Program Coordinator at the Sustainable Development Center, visited Teghut CJSC.
They addressed various issues related to the implementation of the Memorandum of Intent signed several months ago between YSU and Teghut, discussing these with General Director Vladimir Nalivayko and Chief Engineer Aren Arakelyan.
Accompanied by Hrant Hakhverdyan, Chief Geologist of Teghut CJSC and a YSU Geography and Geology Faculty graduate, the group toured the mine area and the beneficiation factory. After reviewing the entire work process, YSU graduates —including Leading Geologist Arsen Khachatryan, Geologist Yeghishe Avetisyan, and Planning Department Head Jivan Galstyan—showcased Teghut CJSC’s activities using advanced professional programs.
The productive and insightful meeting concluded with an agreement to continue their collaboration and develop additional long-term projects.
