A panel discussion titled "Intersecting Professional Paths" was held within the framework of the interfaculty cooperation between the student organizations (Student Council and Student Scientific Society) of YSU Faculties of Geography and Geology, and History. This event marked the first scientific collaboration between the two faculties.
The discussion featured specialists from various museums in Armenia, including YSU History Museum, Metsamor Historical-Archaeological Museum-Reserve, the Geological Museum after H. Karapetyanm (NAS RA), and the Orbeli Brothers House-Museum. The experts shared insights on the specifics of museum activities, exhibition organization methods, modern and interactive solutions, as well as opportunities for student involvement. The selected museums are closely connected to the fields of history, geology, geography, service, and archaeology.

The discussion fostered interdisciplinary connections, adding new value to exhibitions and helping to develop more effective management and service in museums.
According to the Dean of the Faculty of Geography and Geology, Sargis Kelyan, this collaboration is unprecedented and demonstrates that, despite differences in specialties, it is possible to create interdisciplinary connections and organize effective events that contribute to the development of students' scientific thinking. He also emphasized the important role of student organizations in the implementation of such projects, as they encourage active student participation in university life.
The Dean of the Faculty of History, Mkhitar Gabrielyan, stated that the collaboration was entirely successful and expressed hope that similar initiatives will continue in the future.
