About the program

Admission requirements

The entrance exam is conducted orally according to the questionnaire for the entrance exam. The questionnaire is located in the "Admission" section.

The aim of the project

The aim of the program is:

To provide students with basic knowledge of social geography and regional policy development and implementation,
To provide students with the necessary knowledge about the theory and methodology of social geography,
To promote the process of ensuring the continuity of the profession of geography, particularly economic, social, and political geography, and training scientific personnel,
To develop students' professional abilities by carrying out in-depth training in the fields of public (socio-economic) geography and regional politics,
To provide a deep theoretical basis for understanding, analyzing, and interpreting contemporary public geographic issues.

Advantages

Within the framework of the same profession, admission is held without exams, and the applicants with related professions take the final state exam for the Bachelor’s degree in the corresponding profession.

Career opportunities for graduates

Graduates have the opportunity to continue their studies in Postgraduate studies, to work in educational and research institutions, regional research analytical centers, various departments of the RA Ministry of Territorial Development and Administration, and municipalities, to participate in the development of community development programs, and other activities.
