1. Admission criteria/requirements
"Regulations for admission to RA state and non-state higher educational institutions (according to the Bachelor's educational program)" approved by the RA government's decision No. 597 of April 26, 2012. Admission to the full-time mode of study is carried out following the "Rules of admission to RA state higher educational institutions" (reconfirmed every year by the order of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports the Republic of Armenia, the decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia N 476-Ն of April 7, 2022).

2. Programme Objectives
· To form creative, service management specialists with professional knowledge and critical thinking, who apply professional knowledge and can plan, organize, motivate, guide, and control service activities based on the principles of sustainable development ideology.
3. Educational outcomes of the programme
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:
- • To present comprehensive and fundamental knowledge about the service sector,
- • To demonstrate knowledge of at least 2 foreign languages,
- • To present knowledge about the field of management,
- • To demonstrate knowledge to identify, satisfy, and organize customer requirements;
- • To point out the current issues and challenges of the sector at the national, regional, and global levels,
- • To present the prerequisites and resources for the formation and development of the service in RA,
- • To explain the possibilities of achieving sustainable development through the organization of quality services.
- • To skillfully apply knowledge at individualized levels of professional activity, formulate, plan, and implement the processes of different stages of professional activity using fundamental, modern, and innovative methods, and taking into account the requirements of current legal acts, as well as normative and technical documents,
- • To assume responsibility at different stages of service activities based on knowledge of professional ethics and norms,
- • To implement innovative initiatives,

- • To implement the practical application and control of business etiquette and communication norms in the service,
- • To apply computer programs related to service activities,

5. Graduates future career opportunities
Graduates can continue their education or work in service enterprises, in the public and private service management system. They mainly work in communications and tourism, trade, financial and credit, health, scientific and educational, public catering, and hotel enterprises as service managers, department heads, and consultants.

· knowledge of interactive teaching methods, and ability to use active learning techniques. Research

· Ability to draw up and implement research projects.
Communication skills
· oral, written, and remote communication skills with the audience,
· ability to present, analyze, and discuss research results, knowledge of Armenian and foreign languages.

· to clarify the basic principles and concepts of service organization, to know the global and local issues of service activity,
· to clarify the main concepts, categories, and theories of service and tourism,
· to identify customer requirements and their needs, conscious demands, and paying demands,
· to explain the principles of the organization and operation of service systems and tourism complexes,
. to describe modern approaches to service and provision in them, to explain the aspects of the economic, psychological, sociological, and spatial organization of service enterprises, to master the principles of the service organization, to identify the structural features of tourism in the service sector from the perspective of sustainable development,
· to develop socio-cultural services and tourism organization programs,
· to collect, analyze, and coordinate research indicators on the service and tourism sectors.

9. Additional information about the programme
When compiling the "Service" educational program, various regulations adopted in RA, as well as other educational programs, trainings, and results of discussions organized by the Chair of YSU Service were taken into account. The regulations of the World Tourism Organization and the International Association of Guides, educational programs, trainings, as well as regional training courses of the above-mentioned organizations guides organized in the Chair were considered.
