About the program
Admission requirements
The entrance exam is conducted orally according to the questionnaire for the entrance exam. The questionnaire can be found in the “Admissions” section.
The aim of the program
The program aims to train research specialists in applied hydrology, meteorology, and climatology, who will contribute to the sustainable management of global water and climate changes and water resources in the country, increase the efficiency of basic and applied research and development, strengthen the country's technical and institutional capacities, support the UN's "Climate Change" to the fulfillment of Armenia's obligations in the convention and international agreements framework on sustainable development.
Advantages
Students undergo professional internships aimed at developing students' professional skills and experience, as well as the ability to work independently in the professional field, through practical work. Professional internships are organized in educational and scientific institutions, state administration agencies, community organizations, private companies, and other sectorial organizations of the given profession, which have the appropriate material, technical base, and specialists.
Career opportunities
At the end of the program, students will have the opportunity to continue their education at YSU, as well as at Postgraduate programs of RA and foreign universities that implement relevant professional programs.
