On July 3, 2024, the Diploma Awarding Ceremony for the graduates of the YSU History Faculty from the 2023-2024 academic year took place in the YSU Great Hall. The event started with the YSU anthem.

I am sure that you will continue to uphold the good traditions of the oldest faculty of Yerevan State University."
The YSU rector added that although the methodology and knowledge provided by the university are fundamental, continuous self-education and improvement of knowledge are mandatory.
Mkhitar Gabrielyan, Dean of the YSU History Faculty, wished good luck to the graduates, emphasizing: "Being a university student means, above all, upholding the values, history, and reputation entrusted to us. Yerevan State University has been a cornerstone of value formation for decades, from the challenging early years of the First Republic of Armenia to the present day. I want each of you to receive the diploma of Yerevan State University with this conviction and responsibility."
Araksi Torosyan, a graduate of the History Faculty, spoke about her university years and professional achievements: "The university years have been the most fulfilling and meaningful period of my life in terms of education, student life, friendships, and professional growth. As a part-time student, I was able to work and combine quality education during my studies, thus breaking the stereotype that part-time education cannot provide fundamental knowledge. The History Faculty has been the cornerstone, providing not only a way of thinking but also the education and opportunities necessary to establish a strong professional foundation. It is the History Faculty that has shaped who I am today."
The Faculty of History bid farewell to 199 graduates, who leave with a solid foundation of professional knowledge.
