As part of the university-school collaboration, YSU Faculty of History hosted students from Alexander Shirvanzade High School No. 21, who are conducting research on the subject of Armenian history.
During the tour, the students met with the Dean of the Faculty of History, PhD, Associate Professor Mkhitar Gabrielyan. He introduced them to the faculty's academic programs, educational opportunities, and modern approaches to the study of history.
The students also visited Laboratory of Archeological Research at YSU, where they learned about the results of archaeological excavations, studied various archaeological materials, and gained insight into ongoing research in the field.
A lecture on royal palaces was delivered by the Head of the Chair of Armenian History, PhD, Professor Edik Minasyan. Since the students are conducting research on this topic, the lecture served as a valuable guide for their studies.
The students toured the faculty, exploring the university environment.
The Faculty of History will continue its collaboration with schools, supporting the development of students' interest in history and encouraging research projects.
