Philosophy

The "Philosophy" Bachelor's educational program aims to prepare specialists in philosophy, logic, and ethics, who will work in the spheres of education, science, and civil society as teachers, analysts, and consultants. Graduates of the educational program will have the opportunity to continue their education and specialize in the fields of philosophy, logic, and ethics.

Admission to the full-time Bachelor's program is carried out following the procedure approved by the RA government. Applicants to the educational program take entrance exams in the "Armenian language and literature" (written) and "Foreign language" (written).

Graduates of the "Philosophy" educational program will not only have solid and versatile knowledge of world and Armenian philosophical thought and current philosophical issues but will also acquire a high culture of thinking, the ability to logically justify and argue the propositions and conduct and organize debates on them at an appropriate level.

One of the main goals of the program is not only the development of students' critical and creative thinking, but also mastering the underlying methodology, which enables the graduates of this program to apply new, non-standard approaches in solving various social problems. The fundamental philosophical approach endows them with strategic thinking, which many organizations need today.

The graduates of this program work in think tanks, consulting structures, research, and educational institutions, acting as leaders of working groups or leading experts.

The graduates of the program successfully cooperate with international and non-governmental organizations, carrying out both research and publishing works. Upon receiving a Bachelor’s degree, the students will be able to work both in the socio-political sphere and business, as managers of human relations departments of banks or consultants in strategic planning and management.
