A meeting was held at YSU Faculty of Russian Philology with the 10th-grade students of high school №170 in Yerevan.
Members of a research group focused on youth slang, who were hosted at the university by Russian language teacher Aida Nadiryan, had the opportunity to ask questions to the faculty students and the Dean of the Faculty of Russian Philology, Diana Gazarova.
During the meeting, the students were given a detailed presentation about student life at the Faculty of Russian Philology, its academic programs, and career prospects.
For the high school students, Professor Lianna Matevosyan, Doctor of Philological Sciences and Head of the Chair of Russian Linguistics, Typology, and Communication Theory, delivered an interactive lecture on the topic "Language Proficiency as a Necessity of the Times."
Additionally, a quiz was organized for the students, with winners receiving certificates and books.
