At YSU Faculty of Russian Philology, students from the 10th and 11th grades of High School No. 139 named after Karen Demirchyan held an exemplary open class titled "Mozart in Russian Literature."
The theme of the lesson was "Mozart in Russian Literature." The students presented excerpts from the works of A.S. Pushkin, K. Paustovsky, F. Iskander, and B. Okudzhava. The excerpts were read and analyzed, with images displayed and songs played. The lesson was engaging and insightful.
This was not the first visit of the students from the High School No. 139 named after Karen Demirchyan to the faculty. After each lecture, the students participate in stimulating discussions. This time, the students themselves led the class under the guidance of their teacher, Armine Gasparyan, a lecturer in the Chair of Russian Language at YSU Faculty of Russian Philology.
The open class was attended by faculty students and professors. Karine Mkhtaryan, Associate Professor in the Chair of Russian Literature, expressed her gratitude to the students for their fascinating class and praised them for their accurate reading and interpretation of the texts.
According to the Dean of the Faculty, Diana Ghazarova, such meetings are effective in strengthening and enhancing the school-university connection.
At the end of the event, the most active participants were awarded books and certificates of appreciation by the faculty.
