Within the framework of the agreement signed between Yerevan State University and Stavanger University (Norway) as part of the Erasmus+ International Mobility Programme, lecturers from the Chair of Social Work and Social Technologies at the Faculty of Sociology were hosted at Stavanger University at the beginning of the 2024-2025 academic year. This initiative aims to expand cooperation and implement joint programs.

They also conducted seminar discussions with the teaching staff.
A joint podcast was also recorded addressing the forced displacement of the people from Artsakh, highlighting human rights violations and the response of the social protection system.
YSU lecturers visited several state and public and social services providing institutions to explore Scandinavian approaches to foster care development and social rehabilitation.
The knowledge and experience gained will be applied in the educational process of YSU "Social Work" bachelor's and "Social Policy and Administration" master's programs.
At the conclusion of the working visit, discussions focused on further opportunities for expanding cooperation, including joint programs, faculty and student exchanges, and the preparation and publication of research works and scientific articles.
