A solemn event marking the beginning of the new academic year was held at the YSU Faculty of International Relations.
The freshmen were welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty, Ph.D. Associate Professor Tigran Yepremyan, and the Deputy Dean and Head of the Faculty's Office, Ph.D. Gor Petrosyan. Secretary General of the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs Davit Karapetyan was an honored guest at the event.
Dean Tigran Yepremyan congratulated the new students and introduced them to the Faculty of International Relations, outlining its general structure, specialization opportunities, chairs, research directions, and priorities.
Secretary General Davit Karapetyan briefly discussed Armenia's foreign policy priorities, underscoring the significance of quality education in becoming a distinguished international scholar. He also affirmed that the students have embarked on one of the best career paths.
