On September 27, 2024, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Faculty of International Relations at Yerevan State University (YSU) and the Faculty of Political Science and Sociology at the Complutense University of Madrid.
Under this memorandum, both parties have agreed to collaborate on the master's programs in "International Relations" offered by their respective faculties. This partnership aims to implement student and faculty exchange programs, as well as joint research projects.
The signing of the memorandum followed over a year of negotiations and collaboration. Recently, the YSU Faculty of International Relations hosted a delegation from the Complutense University of Madrid, led by Professor Rafael Bustos García de Castro, Head of the "International Relations" master's program. The delegation delivered lectures to YSU students on topics related to world politics, actors in international relations, and various other processes.
Both institutions have also agreed to strengthen cooperation not only between their respective faculties but across different faculties at Yerevan State University and the Complutense University of Madrid.
