Professor Sizo Nkala from the University of Johannesburg, South Africa, delivered an online lecture on the topic "China's Policy in Africa" for the first-year master's students from the "International Relations" and "World Politics" programs at YSU Faculty of International Relations.
During the lecture, the guest speaker presented the characteristics of China's policy in Africa from the mid-20th century to the 21st century.
After the lecture, the Dean of the Faculty of International Relations, PhD, Associate Professor Tigran Yepremyan, and the Head of the Chair of International Relations and Diplomacy, PhD, Associate Professor Zhak Manukyan, engaged in discussions with the speaker on the need to explore potential avenues for cooperation in the field of academic research and education, as well as the willingness to deepen such collaboration. They also spoke about organizing a symposium on "The Development of Armenia-South Africa Relations: Africa’s Rise and Prospects for Partnership with Armenia and Eastern European Countries."
Professor Sizo Nkala's lectures will continue throughout this semester.
