From March 17-19 of this year, Narek Mikayelyan, a second-year master's student in the "World Politics" program, participated in the Raisina-IE Global Student Challenge in New Delhi, as part of the cooperation between YSU Faculty of International Relations and the Observer Research Foundation (ORF). The event was organized by the ORF in collaboration with the Indian government and the Ministry of External Affairs. This unique initiative brings together students from leading management schools and those interested in international relations, promoting inter-university and inter-regional cooperation by forming teams from different universities and regions worldwide.

The event provided young participants with the opportunity to propose innovative solutions to global governance challenges, promoting the ongoing dialogue in international politics. This year's main theme was "Building Bridges: Mitigating the North-South Divide." Around 60 students from various countries presented their perspectives on trends in cooperation and development in the field of digital technologies between the Global North and Global South. Key issues in international relations, world politics, geopolitics, and international economic relations were also discussed, along with potential developments in these areas.
On March 17, the students participated in a panel discussion, with speeches from Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Minister of External Affairs Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, ORF President Samir Saran, and other senior officials.
On March 18-19, the participants presented their reports in teams and answered questions from the audience. During the closing ceremony, the participants were awarded certificates and professional books. During the event, Narek Mikayelyan also had the opportunity to meet with the Armenian ambassador to India, as well as other diplomats and officials.
The Raisina-IE Global Student Challenge serves as an important platform for young professionals to shape new perspectives on the future of global governance, expand international connections, and deepen their professional knowledge.
