Master's programme
About the program
The duration of the "National Security" Master's degree program is 2 years, at the end of which the graduate receives a Master's degree in Political Science. The program is intended for graduates of political science and related fields.
Admission requirements
The admission is carried in accordance with the YSU Master's degree admission regulations for the year 2023-2024. Admission for Political Science major students is conducted without exams, while applicants with related majors take the final exam that is intended for the Bachelor’s students of Political Science.
The aim of the program
The program aims to prepare specialists who will have an understanding of the direct and indirect factors aimed at the comprehensive provision of national security, to develop students' skills to analyze and coordinate issues related to the given field, to make students capable of making decisions and making predictions in the direction of the development of the national security system.
Career opportunities
Graduates of the "National Security" program can work in bodies operating in the socio-political sphere (the staff of the RA National Assembly, local self-government bodies, state administration departments, state and special service systems, research centers, foreign representations of the RA, various international and non-governmental organizations, mass media, strategic research centers) as experts, analysts, researchers, instructors, deputies' assistants, civil servants.
Graduates of the program can continue their studies in the Postgraduate program of the Faculty of International Relations of YSU.
