Chair of Financial Accounting

The Chair of Financial Accounting was established in 2001. In different years, a recognized scientist, state and public figure, Ph.D., Associate Professor Levon Davtyan, and Dr., Professor Vardan Bostanjyan, headed the Chair.

From 2008 to 2022 Dr., Professor Hayk Mnatsakanyan headed the Chair.

Since the creation of the Chair, works have been and are being carried out in the following directions:

• Formation of highly qualified professorial staff,

• Providing the required academic level,

• Development and implementation of educational and professional programs,

• Application of modern technologies in the educational process,

• Continuous improvement of the effectiveness of the educational process,

• Significant research activities.

The Chair has all the necessary conditions for carrying out effective scientific-pedagogical and scientific-research activities at all levels of the educational system of the Republic.

Along with the main lecturers, the faculty of the Finance and Accounting Chair includes experienced specialists in banking, tax, customs, and other sectors of the economy of the Republic of Armenia.

The Chair implements "Finance, money circulation and credit", and "Accounting and auditing" (part-time) Master's degree education programs.
