YSU Faculty of Economics and Management recently hosted Soghomon Mirzoyan, the Founding President of the Armenian Financiers Association, a financial expert, Doctor of Economics. He delivered a lecture on the practical aspects of financial management.
The speaker introduced students to the necessity and importance of financially literate management, emphasizing that it is essential not only for the effective functioning of organizations but also for the stability and development of the economy. Highlighting the significance of financial education, S. Mirzoyan underlined the value of effective financial management, which not only ensures financial stability but also contributes to long-term growth and development.
Students were also presented with the need for financial sector professionals to possess the relevant knowledge and skills required for the efficient organization of financial management processes.
The discussion with the president of the association also covered future collaboration opportunities, including professional internships, as well as involvement in various projects, seminars, and conferences, among other formats.
