On December 5, 2024, a group of third- and fourth-year students from YSU Faculty of Economics and Management participated in a study visit to Freedom Finance Armenia LLC, accompanied by Liana Karapetyan, Assistant Professor at the Chair of Finance and Accounting.
The students were welcomed by Deputy CEO of the company Eduard Safaryan, Head of Educational Programs Georgi Melkonyan, and Deputy Head of PR for the Middle East and South Caucasus Lilit Hakobyan. They provided an overview of Freedom Finance Armenia LLC's activities and development directions, as well as modern investment tools.
The students also visited the Sales Department to observe the company's ongoing work and gain valuable insights into the stock market and investment strategies. Khachatur Beglaryan, Director of Large Private Equity, explained how individuals in Armenia can access major stock exchanges such as New York, London, and Chicago, make investments in the securities market, and become co-owners of international companies.
It is important to note that YSU Faculty of Economics and Management and Freedom Finance Armenia LLC have signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at enhancing collaboration to improve the efficiency of scientific, educational, and research processes.
The parties are committed to collaborating in several areas, including the implementation of collaborative educational programs and research projects, the organization of student internships at Freedom Finance Armenia LLC, the hosting of collaborative conferences, workshops, and round tables, as well as master classes, and, if feasible, offering allowances and scholarships to high-achieving students.
