Deputy Dean of YSU Faculty of Economics and Management Vardan Aleksanyan, and lecturer at the Chair of Financial and Accounting Sciences Liana Karapetyan, along with a group of students from the faculty, participated in the Doing Digital Forum 2025, organized by SPRING PR company. This year, the forum was dedicated to one of the most relevant topics – the transformation of money and its economic impact. The forum, held for the third consecutive year in Yerevan, brought together internationally renowned speakers, experts, and prominent representatives from financial companies, banking, business, and other sectors.

During the forum, discussions were held under the title "Future of Money: Economic Impact," focusing on the development trends of digital currencies, blockchain, Web3, and AI technologies, and their influence on the financial system and the global economy. The forum also addressed the potential development opportunities for the local financial sector and various business directions, the future of work and labor markets, as well as Armenia's role in the international ecosystem.
Tatevik Simonyan, founder of the forum and co-founder of SPRING PR company, emphasized the significance of the initiative as a platform where global and regional experts come together to explore the possibilities of transforming the financial ecosystem. She also highlighted the importance of youth participation in the forum, offering opportunities to engage with innovations and developments in the professional field.
It is worth noting that, within the framework of the memorandum of cooperation signed between YSU and SPRING PR company, students from various faculties of YSU, who were interested in the topic, also participated in the forum.
According to Karine Nazaryan, Deputy Director of YSU Alumni and Career Center, participation in such events provides students not only with professional knowledge but also with opportunities to meet, communicate with, and listen to leading experts in the field.

Vardan Aleksanyan, Deputy Dean of YSU Faculty of Economics and Management, assured that the faculty will continue to encourage active participation from both the academic staff and students in similar initiatives, thereby maintaining active communication and involvement in the study of global transformations and the analysis of them.
Central Bank Governor Martin Galstyan, presented a speech titled "Future of Money" at Doing Digital Forum 2025, discussing the evolution of money, the development of settlement mechanisms, the role of central banks, digital currencies, and other related issues.
Gerd Leonhard, a world-renowned speaker and author of the bestseller Technology vs Humanity, and one of the top 10 futurists globally, was the keynote speaker at the forum. He presented on the topic "7 Predictions: The World Until 2030." He is also a consultant for Fortune 500 companies, governments, and international organizations.
Other prominent speakers included Henri Arslanian, a global crypto leader, advisor to leading crypto companies, governments, and regulatory bodies, TEDx speaker, and co-founder of Nine Blocks Capital Management; Sami Zafar, CEO of Edgar, Dunn & Company, and a leading consultant on digital financial services, banking, payments, digital commerce, blockchain systems, and cryptocurrencies; Matias Undurraga Breitling, a technology leader with over 20 years of experience in Amazon Web Services and founder of Chile's largest e-commerce platform - Food Solution; and several other distinguished professionals.
The forum also included two panel discussions, with participation from Vakhtang Abrahamyan (CEO of Fastex), Gerry Afentakis (Managing Director Europe, Zodia Custody), Ara Abrahamyan (Supervisory Board Member of ArCa), Armen Nurbekyan (Deputy Governor at Central Bank of Armenia), Inna Ozhogina (Country Manager for Central Eurasia, Amazon Web Services), Ofelya Aghakaryan (Senior Executive Officer at Apricot Capital DIFC Limited, Dubai, UAE), Nanna Skau (UN World Food Program Representative and Country Director), and Mikheil Didebulidze (co-founder and CEO of ArenaVS, founder of DeGameFi).
Since 2023, the forum has hosted over 40 leading speakers and more than 2,000 participants from Armenia, the United Kingdom, the United States, the UAE, Germany, Australia, and other CIS countries.
