1. Admission criteria/requirements
The applicant of the program must have at least a three-level general secondary education of the RA or other equivalent education.
The admission is made following the RA Government Decision No. 686 of April 28, 2011, on approving the procedure for admission to RA state and non-state higher educational institutions (according to the Bachelor's program) and repealing RA Government Decision No. 597 of April 26, 2012. According to the decision. Applicants to the program must pass the following joint exams for admission:
1. Mathematics (written)
2. Armenian language and literature (written) or foreign language (written)
Admission of applicants with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in other majors is carried out without entrance exams. In this case, the applicant is immediately admitted to the second year of the educational program.
2. Programme Objectives
The program aims to prepare high-quality specialists in management for organizations performing economic activities in various sectors of the economy, financial and banking sectors, production and social infrastructures, state administration, and local self-government systems.
3. Educational outcomes of the programme
Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:
- • To describe the emerging economic phenomena and processes in the fields of production, distribution, exchange, and consumption,
- • To present the existing main approaches to performing technical and economic calculations necessary for business, modern technologies of optimal planning, and management of resources,
- • To present the approaches of accounting, analyzing, and forecasting the results of the organizations' activities,
- • To explain the issues related to the development, implementation, and management of an organization's strategy,
- • To present the peculiarities of different sectors of the economy and their management, as well as the regulations and approaches of state administration and local self-government,
- • To present the most widespread directions of application of modern probabilistic, optimization, statistical, econometric, and other methods,
- • To present the most widespread specialized computer programs, as well as the main directions of their application for economic analysis and management,
- • To interpret the problems of micro- and macroeconomics, global and local markets,
- • To make necessary technical and economic calculations for business and submit reports,
- • To assess the economic efficiency of the organization's activities.
- • To develop business plans and participate in their implementation, organizing work both as a team member and as a team leader,
- • To choose various strategies and tools, contributing to increase the efficiency of managerial decisions,
- • To use the most popular specialized software packages (SPSS, EViews).
- • To design an efficient management system for the organization, increasing the efficiency of management of all resources.
- • To identify the features and implementation mechanisms of the management of individual sectors of the economy, as well as the entire economy.
- • To use various sources of information (Internet resources, electronic libraries, scientific articles, and reports).
- • To apply acquired knowledge and disseminate new ones.
- • To find and process the necessary information and data.
- • To prepare reports, present research results, and conduct scientific debates.
4. Assessment methods
The assessment includes the following components:
· assessment of mastery of subsections of the course (educational module) during the semester (2 current exams),
· current inspections of individual topics of the course (educational module) during the semester,
· verification and evaluation of the implementation and assimilation of independent tasks provided by the program during the semester (independent work),
· evaluation of the performance of independent and/or group research work provided by the program during the semester (research work that replaces any of the current exams),
· assessment of participation in the course (participation),
· Final assessment of the entire course (educational module) in the exam period, which implies an assessment of the level of achievement of educational outcomes defined for the course.
According to the evaluation form, the courses are divided into 4 groups:
· with the final assessment,
· without final assessment,
· without evaluation of current exams,
· check-up.

5. Graduates future career opportunities
Graduates of the program can occupy the following positions immediately after graduation: heads of lower and middle levels of management, departments, analysts, and advisors. Graduates of the program will have the opportunity to work: in the state administration system: in the government, ministries, other state departments, local self-government bodies, in the private sector - in organizations of production, financial banking, service provision, trade sectors, and in international structures.
Graduates of the program can continue their studies with existing master's programs in the "Management" specialty (without an entrance exam) and other specialties, as well as receive a bachelor's or diploma specialist qualification degree in the second specialty in a short period

· knowledge of at least one foreign language (at least B1 level of English).

· basic computer skills (fluent command of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint package),

· skills to prepare and present presentations (pptx, prezi, canva, etc.).

· knowledge of professional ethics and legal norms regulating public relations,
· the ability to estimate the necessary resources and implement projects effectively,
· Ability to plan and manage time resources.

· availability of at least 2 scientific and/or methodological publications in the last 5 years,
· at least 2 participations in conferences and/or workshops in the last 5 years or at least 3 years of experience in practical work relevant to the taught subject.
Pedagogical experience
· at least 3 years of experience in teaching professional courses and/or conducting training (except teaching post-graduate students as an internship),
· participation in local or international training and/or professional qualification improvement courses (except teaching post-graduate students as an intern) during the last 5 years.
Other requirements
· teaching portfolio: availability of online materials for at least 1/3 of taught subjects,
· the average grades obtained by the results of the student survey: at least 3.5 (for teaching professors).
