The program consists of general, professional and elective courses. Compulsory professional courses and elective courses are of applied importance and focus, they are devoted to current problems, challenges and forecasting of sector changes in economic development, developing economic policy, conducting research and analysis in economics, mastering tools for overcoming crisis situations.

Graduates with bachelor's, master's, or graduate qualifications from other non-governmental universities who have passed state and institutional accreditation in their specialties have the opportunity to apply for admission to the YSU Master's degree program for the 2023/2024 academic year in full-time and part-time forms of study:

The aim of the program

The purpose of the educational program is to analyze and systematize financial issues related to the economic sector, make appropriate forecasts, implement the acquired knowledge and skills and make decisions in various sectors related to the banking, non-banking, tax, customs and financial sectors.

Advantages

Upon successful completion of the program, the student will be able to present global and local problems of the modern financial sector, formulate modern approaches to the preparation and analysis of monetary and fiscal policy plans, present the basic principles of banking, classify risks and make financial decisions using various financial instruments to analyze investment and business processes in practice, assess the effectiveness of financial management of the organization, apply methods of management and assessment of the financial sector of the economy, evaluate the chosen economic policy, develop and implement in practice other credit and asset functions of the banking sector.

During the second year, students undergo a 6-week professional internship in partner organizations and in the private sector of the economy.

The program is intended for graduates with bachelor's, master's or graduate qualifications from non-governmental higher educational institutions accredited in their specialties and who have passed institutional accreditation, who want to develop professional qualities, gain new knowledge and master the skills to assess the economic situation and overcome emerging problems.
