The YSU Faculty of Armenian Philology hosted a conference commemorating the 100th anniversary of Stepan Alajajyan in the Hall named after Iskuhi Ter-Voghormatshyan.
The Faculty of Armenian Philology is committed to making the works of prominent authors in Armenian literature familiar and accessible to new generations. This conference aimed to highlight and honour the creative journey of the great writer, emphasizing the literary legacy he left behind, particularly the values and ideas that serve as life lessons for new generations.
Attendees included Stepan Alajajyan's wife, son, and daughter, along with guests from other universities, the Writers' Union of Armenia, and the Institute of Literature of the National Academy of Sciences.
The conference concluded with an artistic segment and a donation of books; guests received Stepan Alajajyan's three-volume work Unhealed Wound («Չսպիացող վերք») and the novel The Reeds Didn't Bend («Եղեգները չխոնարհվեցին»).
