A book presentation of the third volume titled "Body and Blood" by the Diasporan Armenian writer and public figure Karo Armenyan was held at the Faculty of Armenian, initiated by the Yerevan office of the Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Society.
Karo Armenyan began writing during his years at the seminary, initially experimenting with literature and journalism. His first two books of poems, both titled "Body and Blood," were published in 1970 and 1977.
Ruzan Arakelyan, Director of the Yerevan office of the Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Society, emphasized that the core of Karo Armenyan's work is based on moral values and conscience. She also highlighted that despite being far away, Karo Armenyan touches on themes as if he were speaking from within our homeland. This reflects the life of a person who lives with the pain and sorrow of his homeland.
At the event, speeches were delivered by literary scholars Samvel Muradyan, Davit Gasparyan, Abgar Apinyan, the editor-in-chief of "Droshak" journal Artashes Shahbazyan, Director of the Institute of History at the National Academy of Sciences, Academician Ashot Melkonyan, and others.
