At the initiative of the Student Scientific Society of YSU Faculty of Armenian Philology, the faculty hosted Ruben Matevosyan, a distinguished master of national music, People’s Artist of Armenia, Professor at the Komitas State Conservatory of Armenia, and a graduate of YSU Faculty of Armenian Philology.

The presence of the great artist filled the day with love and warmth. In a heartfelt conversation with the audience, Ruben Matevosyan shared stories from his student years, expressing boundless gratitude to his esteemed teachers. The renowned singer recalled memorable moments from his creative journey and discussed the distinctive features of Armenian folk music. Presenting his vision for the preservation and transmission of national music to future generations, the eminent Armenian artist emphasized, "There is no 'difficult'; only the 'overcomeable.'"
During the meeting, the beloved singer sincerely answered questions from the audience, sharing insights from his years of experience.
The meeting took place in a warm atmosphere, inspiring the participants with the idea of remaining faithful to national music and, more broadly, to high values, living in accordance with Armenian culture.
