Third-year students from the "Chemistry" program at YSU Faculty of Chemistry visited the mining factory of Geopromining Gold LLC within the framework of the "Inorganic Synthesis" course. The visit aimed to familiarize the students with the working processes, technologies, and environmental measures in the mining industry, including the gold smelting process.
The tour, organized on February 28, aimed to assist students in their professional orientation and to enhance their awareness of the mining sector. During the visit, students were introduced to the production stages, the equipment used, and the safety regulations at the gold mine. Representatives from the company also discussed career opportunities in the sector, highlighting that the company actively collaborates with universities to train the next generation of specialists.
At the end of the tour, students shared their impressions, emphasizing that the visit helped them better understand the specifics, and importance of the mining industry, as well as career prospects in the field.
