General information
Climatic fluctuations of the Ararat valley are the main reasons for the decline of RA agriculture, natural ecosystems and biodiversity. Extreme weather conditions, abnormally hot weather, which has an impact on ecosystems and biodiversity, accelerate the process of desertification and contribute to the degradation of ecosystems. On the other hand, extremely cold weather conditions can disturb the ecological balance. These differences also have social consequences that affect human health. Thus, studying and evaluating the dynamics of anomalies is important for developing strategies. In addition to identifying the main causes and regularities of these extreme weather phenomena, stakeholders will be better prepared and react faster to such phenomena. To understand and further solve this issue, it is necessary to conduct an analysis using current and background climatic data, which include temperature gradients, precipitation amounts, wind dynamics and deviations from normal weather norms. This work will potentially give insight into larger-scale climate change and offer promising solutions for local manifestations of global climate change.
