In the modern world, the priority of the current stage of development of the social system is to increase the role and the useage of information technologies as an essential element of increasing the competitiveness of the country and the efficiency of economic relations. Digital transformations are rapidly penetrating different layers of social relations.
Although the digitalization process in the RA has a history of a decade, there are many imperfections related to the asymmetric digitalization, the lack of a unified data base, and the lack of a general digitalization strategy. In the framework of the implementation of the research project, the publications of international experts, specialists on the digitization of economic relations, and the articles and works of scientists-researchers will be studied. The current trends in the digitalization of Armenian economy, its evaluation and the potential and the ways of increasing the effectiveness of the digitalization of the RA economy will be outlined.
