In September 2023 heavy tragedy that befell the Armenians of Artsakh forces us, the historians, to change our historiographical observations and evaluations both in the past and in the present regarding the provisions and conclusions. It is necessary to find out for what reasons and due to historical circumstances the Armenian migrations took place, the once flourishing Armenian communities gradually faded away and in some parts even disappeared, why many Armenian colonies of the current diaspora took the path of assimilation with the local nations. According to the scientific group, the interpretations and analyzes of these issues in our history literature of are incomplete or insufficient.
