General information
In recent decades, the unprecedented growth of the industry and the rapid development of new technologies have become imperative for the design and fabrication of sensor systems with optimized parameters that will serve the effective and safe development of human activity. The improvement of such sensor systems is mainly due to the synthesis and application of new types of nanomaterials, which, with their unique characteristics, endow the sensors with high performance.
Within the framework of the project, it is planned to synthesize one-, two- and three-dimensional metal oxide and carbon-based nanostructured materials and fabricate gas, strain, and glucose sensors (detectors) based on them, which will exhibit high sensitivity, speed, flexibility, and temporal stability.
