General information
The project is a comprehensive and multi-stage study that will identify the psychological characteristics of perception, overcoming and adaptation of the direct and indirect effects of stressors, as well as its cumulative effect associated with long-term and multifactorial negative impacts. Our observations have shown that the most striking example of the above-mentioned permanent and complex immediate stressors are the events that happened to the Artsakh Armenians (tension on the border, pandemic, war, blockade, forced displacement), which also has a certain indirect stress impact on the population of the Republic of Armenia. The timeliness and scientific novelty of this unique project, presented with the aim of studying the characteristics of cumulative stress caused by daily and long-term negative factors of mental stress, and the mechanism for counteracting these factors, are also aimed at supporting the professional activities of practicing psychologists in the Republic of Armenia and cooperation with the involvement of the scientific potential of psychologists who have been internally displaced from Artsakh.
