The rapid growth of aquaculture production is one of the keys to food security and nutrition in the world. In Armenia, this sector has registered an unprecedented growth in the last two decades. This requires accelerating transformational changes in terms of policies, management, innovation, and investments aimed at sustainable development of the sector, addressing environmental problems, as well as minimizing the negative impact on the ecosystem and climate. For the effective implementation of aquaculture production based on sustainable solutions to food security and nutrition as well as environmental issues in Armenia, it is necessary to develop innovative modeling technologies to contribute to the effective development of the sector. The aim of the presented project is: 1. to study and analyze the state and current trends of aquaculture production in Armenia, 2. to develop innovative modeling technologies to increase the sector's efficiency, 3. based on the application of innovative modeling technologies to propose recommendations for decision-making and policy development aimed at increasing the efficiency of the sector in the context of integration of the three pillars of sustainable development.
