Based on the terms of reference of the YSU Rector’s Order No. 44/12-L of March 4, 2024, "Yerevan State University" Foundation announces a competition to fill the vacant position of the Dean of the Faculty of European Languages and Communication of YSU.
The candidate for the position must have an academic rank and title corresponding to the direction of the faculty (3rd point of the "Procedure for the selection of the head of the structural units of YSU").
The Academic Council of YSU will elect the dean of the faculty by a closed, secret vote for 5 years. The same person cannot be elected to the position of the head of a structural unit more than twice in a row (Point 4th of the "Procedure for the selection of the head of a structural unit of YSU").
The election will take place at the YSU Academic Council session on April 8, 2024, at 1:30 p.m.
The candidate for the position of dean of the faculty must submit the following documents to the secretary of the YSU Academic Council:
1) application to Rector,
2) curriculum vitae (CV),
3) original documents of higher education certificate (diploma), scientific degree diploma, scientific degree certificate,
4) the list of published scientific works and/or inventions,
5) the concept of unit development,
6) other documents at the initiative of the candidate,
(Point 4th of the "Procedure for the selection of the head of the YSU structural unit").
The deadline for submission of applications and attached documents is March 19, 2024.
