YSU rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan’s New Year's Greeting Message

The past year was full of achievements, but at the same time, severe losses and challenges, facing which we have shown resilience, unity and cohesion. To overcome difficulties and achieve continuous progress and victories in the future, we must place even greater importance on quality education, advanced scientific thinking, innovative ideas, diligence and dedication.

In this context, it is necessary to emphasize once again that Yerevan State University is not just an academic institution. It is a unique "forge" for the preparation of qualified personnel, leaders, thinkers, problem-setters and solution-finders promoting the progress of our country, so the development of the university should be the priority of all of us.

In the past year, significant steps have been taken to make YSU a leading international educational and research center. I express my gratitude to our students, professors, scientists and all the employees who support the educational process for their work, efforts and recorded successes. The dedication of each of you is the cornerstone of the university's success, it is your love and responsibility that make our university special and unique.

In 2024, Yerevan State University will continue its commitment to be a center of excellence and innovation, to achieve positive changes for our country and society.
