YSU signs cooperation agreement to advance chemistry sector
YSU Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan and Tsovinar Bilyan, General Director of Instructarium Company, highlighting the need to implement collaborative educational and research programs and projects through the combined potential of both institutions, signed a cooperation agreement.
In accordance with the agreement, YSU and Instructarium Company will collaborate to conduct scientific research in chemistry, food safety, laboratory practices, standardization, industrial safety, and other fields, while also developing joint master's and bachelor's educational programs.
In order to achieve the set goals, the parties are ready to establish scientific production and educational methodical bases and laboratories, as well as introduce human resources, professional knowledge, abilities and skills.
Within the framework of the agreement, the company will organize training courses for the teaching staff and students of YSU Chemistry Faculty on topics such as ensuring employee safety and health protection, safety requirements in chemical laboratories, fire safety and pre-medical first aid.
Additionally, collaborative efforts will be directed towards organizing programs aimed at enhancing students' professional knowledge, practical and laboratory skills, along with facilitating practices, practical sessions and laboratory classes.
