In the YSU Academic Council Session Hall, the beneficiary students of the Kenn Kakosian Family Scholarship Fund had the privilege of meeting Kenn Kakosian and his son.
For the second year, at the initiative of Kenn Kakosian, the Kenn Kakosian Family Scholarship Fund has been providing scholarships to Yerevan State University, American University of Armenia and Armenian National Agrarian University students living in provinces, compensating their tuition fees. The scholarship program offers financial support to students who demonstrate high academic progress and active involvement in their communities.
During the meeting, the scholarship recipients had the chance to meet Kenn Kakosian, engage in conversations, pose inquiries, as well as present their plans, highlighting how their studies and research projects will contribute to the advancement and development of community life.
Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, Rector of Yerevan State University, emphasizing the importance of providing scholarships to students, noted that this initiative is an important investment not only for students’ individual growth, but also for the future of the country.
"We highly value and appreciate the contribution of the Kenn Kakosian Family Scholarship Fund to educational processes, as it serves for the benefit of students. As a result of these investments and support, students will have the opportunity to implement new development projects in their communities and continue their professional careers. I congratulate the recipients of the Kenn Kakosian Family Scholarship from both Yerevan State University and other universities. Education stands as the cornerstone of everything and the guarantee of a good future," the YSU rector said.
At the meeting, Kenn Kakosian expressed his delight, saying, "I'm very happy to see all of you. I hope that upon completing your studies, you will find a good job and become useful specialists for our motherland. Should the program demonstrate success, we aim to sustain its continuity."
