New master class to be held at Institute of Pharmacy
A master class titled "Theoretical and Practical Foundations of Analytical Quality Control Methods: HPLC, LC, MS", tailored for specialists in the field, will be held at the Institute of Pharmacy.
Associate Professor Avetis Tsaturyan, Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Head of the experimental laboratory at the Scientific and Educational Center for Control and Monitoring of Quality of Medicines, YSU Institute of Pharmacy, announced upcoming master classes tailored for specialists in the field (pharmacists, pharmacologists, material scientists). These sessions will be held in the laboratory equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
"We are organizing a course titled 'Theoretical and Practical Foundations of Analytical Quality Control Methods: HPLC, LC, MS,' starting in July. Within the framework of the course, participants will delve into the theoretical fundamentals of mass spectrometry, applied high-performance chromatography, and gas chromatography, the application of these methods across various stages of quality control, along with the nuances of analytical method validation," said Avetis Tsaturyan.
He also emphasized that the course will be instructed by Armenian leading and experienced specialists. Participants will not only gain theoretical knowledge but also have the opportunity to apply their skills in practical exercises.
It’s important to note that the experimental laboratory at the Scientific and Educational Center for Control and Monitoring of Quality of Medicines, YSU Institute of Pharmacy, is accredited under the GOST ISO/IEC 17025 standard. Accreditation provides an opportunity to carry out a wide range of studies, including various tests of single-component or multi-component medicines and the determination of mass fractions of chemical elements in industrial wastewater and water resources.
