YSU sets new benchmark for scientific publications in prominent international journals

As of 2024, the total number of YSU scientific works has reached 528. Of these, 433 are scientific articles, more than 200 of which have been published in Q1 journals. 

These scientific articles cover a wide range of fields, including chemistry, physics, pharmacy, social sciences, and mathematics.

It is worth noting that in 2023, the number of YSU scientific works published in "Scopus" was 432, meaning this year's performance has exceeded last year's by 21%.

The number of scientific articles published by YSU researchers in journals indexed in the "Web of Science" database has reached 521 as of now, while for the entire previous year, it was 432, and in 2022 it was 337.

"Scopus" and "Web of Science" are among the world’s leading scientific databases, featuring high-impact journals. The aforementioned results attest to YSU's substantial scientific potential and the investments and reforms made in recent years.

Thus, YSU researchers and scientists are contributing to the advancement of various branches of science, becoming authors of groundbreaking discoveries. By publishing in leading journals, they underscore the university's prominent reputation and its position as a leading academic institution in the region.
