"Believing in one's own strengths and striving to achieve goals through self-education" is my motto, my constant "companion," says Lusine. "When you believe in yourself and constantly strive to learn new things, nothing is impossible."

Lusine has already proven that the key to success is not only hard work but also self-confidence. She is convinced that any difficulty can be overcome with the right approach.

Scientific Achievements

The core of Lusine’s success story lies in her scientific work. She is a co-author of three scientific articles. One of these articles has been published in the "Food Science and Technology" journal, while the other two have appeared in the "Functional Foods in Health and Disease" journal. 

"For scientific articles, it is not only necessary to conduct extensive research but also to generate accurate results. This requires focus, patience, and great dedication," she notes.

Social Activity

In addition to her scientific endeavors, Lusine leads an active student life. Since the 2021-2022 academic year, she has been a member of YSU Student Scientific Society. Since joining the organization, she has organized numerous seminars and participated in events, contributing to the involvement of students in these activities.

Overcoming Difficulties

Along her path to success, Lusine has faced a number of difficulties, which she has accepted as challenges.

"The complexity of courses, exams, and balancing work with scientific research were not easy. However, with the support of our professors, I managed to overcome all obstacles. The most challenging part was generating the necessary results for the scientific articles, but perseverance helped me overcome these challenges," she says.

Victory in the "Best Student" Competition

The news of being awarded the scholarship brought immense excitement and joy to Lusine.

"I have always wondered how one can succeed in such a competition, but I never imagined myself in the role of a winner. Seeing my name among the top students in the country is one of the most memorable moments of my life," she shares.

Passion for the Profession

Lusine has never doubted that she chose the right profession. She is currently studying in the second year of the "Genomics and Medical Cell Genetics" master’s program.

"Genetics is more than just a science to me. I have found myself in this field. When I talk about genetics, I forget everything around me. It is my passion and my path to success," she emphasizes. 

Vision for the Future

Lusine’s goal is to achieve new scientific breakthroughs and become a successful biologist.

"Winning this competition is a great responsibility for me. I must justify my hopes and achieve my goals by becoming a good biologist and scientist. My primary objective is not only to make progress in the field of science but also to apply the knowledge I have gained in practice for the benefit of society," she highlights.

Beyond the Profession: Love for Books and Dance

Despite the time constraints, Lusine manages to dedicate time to her hobbies.

"I love reading both professional and literary books. I am also studying languages, and currently, I am focusing on English. When I have time, I also enjoy dancing," she adds with a smile.

Lusine Baghdasaryan’s story is yet another vivid example that perseverance, determination, and a passion for one’s chosen profession can turn any dream into a reality.
