Memorandum signed to enhance Armenian-Kazakh scientific and academic cooperation
Yerevan State University and Shakarim University of the City of Semey (Kazakhstan) have inaugurated a new chapter in Armenian-Kazakh academic cooperation. A memorandum of cooperation, signed by representatives of the two universities, outlines a broad framework for international partnership in higher education, scientific research, and innovation.

The cooperation will be implemented in accordance with the legal provisions of both countries and the principles of international law. The parties have expressed their readiness to jointly conduct educational and training programs and to enhance scientific and academic activities for students, as well as academic and administrative staff.
Within the scope of the memorandum, the parties will promote academic mobility and organize scientific internships. A key objective is the implementation of dual-diploma programs at the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels.
Additionally, the memorandum envisions the joint development of academic curricula, textbooks, and methodological manuals, as well as the execution of academic exchange programs.
The cooperation also includes organizing international conferences and exhibitions, exchanging scientific and technical information, and implementing other initiatives with a view to strengthening the material and technical resources of both universities.
The signing of this memorandum marks another significant step in YSU's internationalization strategy, aimed at expanding educational and scientific partnerships, fostering the exchange of expertise, and promoting intercultural dialogue.
